XVI Palermo City Marathon – Banco di Sicilia
The match is in the A.I.S.M.’s and FIDAL’s ( Italian Federation of Athletics ) calendar AGONISTIC SECTION AND PROMOTING COMPETITIVE SECTION All the athletes belonging to Junior, Senior and Amateur categories can take part in the 16th International Marathon “ City of Palermo “.They have to be holders of a FIDAL or any promoting sports organization membership card. This card has to be recognised by CONI for the year 2010.The athletes belonging to the above mentioned categories will have to enclose a copy of their membership card. PROMOTING SECTION The athletes without a membership card to any federation or to any sports organization will have : - to sign a daily card that enables them to take part in on the road competitions - to pay five Euros for the card - to enclose a copy of a medical certificate of fitness issued by a sports medicine centre valid on the date of the competition - to be eighteen by the date of the competition. Otherwise the athletes will have to sign a year-valid card issued by the cost of 4,00 € only .They will be able to do this at the organizing committee seat when entering the competition. The athletes with no Italian residence will have to enclose a sports medical certificate of fitness according to the sanitary regulations in force in their countries. The entry is free for the athletes who have taken part in all the thirteen editions of the Marathon The entry is free for disabled people An intermediate finish line for the Half Marathon-distance is planned. Umpires and time-keepers will draw up final results also for these competitions. The athletes taking part in the Half Marathon competition will run one round whereas those taking part in the Marathon will run two rounds. The start will take place in Via Libertà, at 9,15 a.m. and the maximum time is 5,30 hours; after that time road-blocking won’t be guaranteed. ENTRIES Entries will be accepted only if complete with all legible data, a copy of payment, the required documents, by the fixed terms. Incomplete entries won’t de considered The RACE FEE has been set at : Marathon: Until the 25/10/2010 € 25,00; from 26/10/2010 to 14/11/2010 €30,00; from 15/11/2010 to 18/11/2010 € 50,00 Half Marathon: Until the 25/10/2010 € 16,00; from 26/10/2010 to 14/11/2010 € 20,00. from 15/11/2010 to 18/11/2010 € 35,00 Women the race fee has been set at: € 20,00 for the MARATHON The entries will stop on 14th November 2010.The entries and the fees have to come by 14h -11-2010, by fax 091/6193303 or via the website www.palermomaratona.it,using the registration form, filled in all its parts; otherwise you can send your data to: maratonapalermo@libero.it,-iscrizioni@palermomaratona.it. The competition pack can be picked up at the “EXPO MARATHON”-Via Libertà on 19th November from p.m. to 8 p.m. and on 20th November from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Competition packs cannot be picked up on the competition day AWARDING CEREMONY The first three athletes of each category will be awarded for the Marathon The first three athletes of each category will be awarded for the “Maratonina” Prize awarding ceremony will take place at the end of the competition, those who do not pick up the prize will be able to do it at the seat of the organizing committee within 15 days The diplomas of participation can be picked up at the seat of the organizing committee within 15 days from the competition, on demand Toilets, luggage rooms ,dressing rooms and massage rooms will be available at the start/finish line area The amount of the prize money won’t be communicated on our website before 90 days from the competition Medical assistance will be guaranteed by means of doctors and ambulances Traffic will be blocked, where it won’t be possible traffic-wardens, police and volunteers will control it . The competition will be controlled by FIDAL Umpires. The athletes will have to wear electronic chips to be given back on arrival, under penalty of disqualification or of 15,00 € caution money. We inform you that ,according to the article n.196del 30/06/03 law, all personal data will be used only to make the list of participants, to draw up final results ,to communicate with you and to send material regarding the competition. RIGHT IMAGE By entering the XVI edition of the Marathon of the city of Palermo, athletes expressly authorize the Organization and its partners to acquire free of rights, the use of still images or moving on which they may appear, taken on the occasion of their participation in the Marathon of the City of Palermo, on all the visible as well as promotional materials and / or advertising, products and distribution in the world and for the maximum time established by law and regulations, treaties in force including any extension that could be made during the period. The Organizing Committee of the Marathon of the City of Palermo, while actively engaging in the success of the event, any liability for damage to persons or property, during and after the competition. The event, however, will be held according to the standards. Although not included in the present rules, the federal standards are applicable. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes to the clauses of this Regulation at any time for reasons of major force. Subscription to the competition implies acceptance of these rules and conditions contained therein. Palermo Marathon |
